    HMAI Congress Seminar, Dec 2014

    • The necessity of one united All India Homoeopathic Organization was realized by every Homoeopath of the nation and so with the sincere combined efforts of senior stalwarts, all organizations present in those days were merged to form a single All India organization and thus your own The Homoeopathic Medical Association of India evolved.

      If we are really anxious to safeguard future of Homoeopathy in India "A strong Homoeopathic Organization is need and call of the time." The Homoeopathic Medical Association of India is the only organization having its door always open for entire Homoeopathic fraternity, physicians, teachers, pharmacists and students. We regard all and appeal every Homoeopath and well-wisher of the science to come under one roof in the better interest of Homoeopathy and Homoeopaths.

    The Behala Unit organized “56th West Bengal State Homoeopathic Practitioners’ Conference- 2013” under the auspices of The Homoeopathic Medical Association of India, West Bengal State Branch on 1st December, 2013 (Sunday) at Dr. Sibendra Nath Sinha Nagar (A. P. Roy Rly. Institute), Gholsapur, Behala, Kolkata- 700034. It was all day programme with Delegate Session, Open Session, and two Scientific Seminars.

    The Delegate Session was presided over by the President, Dr. M. L. Bera and conducted by the General Secretary, Dr. H. D. Jaiswal. All the Office Bearers of the West Bengal State Branch along with the Secretary General, Dr. Shyamal Kr. Mukherjee, Vice-President, Dr. Ashoke Kumar Pradhan, Dr. Rajat Chatterjee & Dr. S. I. Hussain were present on the Dias.

    The Open Session was chaired by Dr. M. L. Bera, the President of the West Bengal State Branch of The HMAI. Srimat Swami Devrajanandaji Maharaj of the Sarsuna Ramkrishna Mission Inaugurated the Session. The chief guest was Srimat Swami Susantanandaji Maharaj of the Sarsuna Ramkrishna Mission. The Guest of Honour was Dr. Dola Sarkar, Councillor, Kolkata Muncipal Corporation. Dr. Shyamal Kr. Mukherjee, Secretary General, HMAI, Dr. Ashok Kr. Pradhan, Vice-President, HMAI were present as Special Guest. Dr. H. D. Jaiswal read out the Resolutions adopted at the Delegate Session and the activities of the West Bengal State Branch.

    Dr. A. S. Khanna (89), President, Dr. Manik Lal Banerjee (82), Vice-President and Dr. Narayan Chandra Das (74) of Behala Unit were felicitated for their sincere long service to humanity by the Behala Unit. Dr. Bijoy Chand Mollick, the Chairman of the Organising committee introduced them.

    The Panel Discussion of the scientific session was “Importance of Modern Pathological Methods in Homoeopathy”. The panelists were Dr. Satadal Das, Dr. Rajat Chattopadhyay, Dr. Subhamoy Ghosh, Dr. Subhas Singh and Dr. Susanta Saha and the moderator was Dr. Souraj Das.

    The second scientific session was also panel discussion on “Role of applied Psychiatry in Homoeopathy” the panelists were Dr. Ashok Das, Dr. Dilip Bhattacharya and Dr. Biplob Kundu and the moderator was Dr. Baidurjya Bhattacharjee.

    The vote of thanks was given by Dr. M. L. Banerjee, Vice-President of the Behala Unit.
