World Homoeopathy Day 2024 was celebrated with Hon’ble President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu as Chief Guest.on 10th April 2024 to mark the 269th Birt Anniversary of Dr. Samuel Hahenemann, Father of Homoeopathy. Two days 10-11 April convention was organised by the Ministry of AYUSH, National Commission of Homoeopathy (NCH), Central Council of Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) and National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH). WHD 2024 was held at Yashobhoomi International Convention Centre, Dwarka.
Convention was supported by The Homoeopathic Medical Association of India (HMAI), the largest association of Homoeopathic Doctors in the world said Dr.A.K.Gupta, National Secretary General HMAI. Empowering Research and Enhancing Proficiency is the theme of this convention . Around 7000 Homoeopathic doctors, Students, Researchers participated among them Foreign delegates were from Netherlands, Spain, Columbia, Canada and Bangladesh.

Dr. J.D. Daryani and Dr. A.K. Dwivedi were the Chairpersons. Dr.A.K.Gupta, Dr.Nirmaljit Singh , Dr. Sayed Tanvir Hussain , Dr. Rajesh RS and Dr. Dhiraj Premkumar Samuel were the Panellists from HMAI, HCI, IIHP, IHK and IHMA Homoeopathic Associations respectively. Discussion was moderated by Dr. Shaji Kumar and Amit Srivastava from CCRH.
Very useful points were discussed about the challenges and what could be the probable solutions for them were suggested. Dr. Gupta emphasised all associations need to come under one Umbrella for the Betterment of Homoeopathy and Homoeopaths and should be able to make a voice which can be heard by the Regulatory authorities and AYUSH Ministry.
It was felt by all that Associations must be invited for the discussions on any matter pertaining to the policies or steps taken by State and Central Regulatory Authorities of AYUSH where Homoeopathy must be represented properly. Like the studies done by CCRH must reach to a Practitioner even which can be done by involving the Associations to bridge the gap between them .
